I started this blanket when I was pregnant with my daughter and finished it before her fourth birthday.  Not bad I think.  I lost the pattern for the squares long ago, and experimented with a few different borders before settling on this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBtHPUPa5gE .  It’s ended up about 920mm wide and 1200mm long.  It is lumpy and flawed but made from really fancy Debbie Bliss wool yarn and we both love it.
